The Institute for Molecular Bioscience (IMB) at The University of Queensland (UQ) is a global leader in multidisciplinary life sciences research, bringing together 500 researchers from across the globe for disease discovery, application and sustainable futures. Formed in 2000 as an initiative of UQ, Queensland and Australian governments, and private philanthropy, IMB is one of the largest life sciences institutes in the Asia-Pacific region.
The IMB Industry Mentor Program connects Early Career Researchers (PhD students and Postdoctoral Researchers) with a leading industry mentor in a relevant field. This one-on-one mentorship aims to empower our researchers, by building a stronger understanding of specific aspects of research translation and the drivers and attributes needed to build a career in this area.
