My Student Guide program connects new-to-UQ students with experienced student volunteers. Choose your Student Guide today to ask questions and tips for success, chat about life on campus, and hear about their student experience.
Get Started with My Student Guide
Step 1: Click the 'Join Program' button. Choose to join as a 'New Student'.
Step 2: You will receive an email asking you to complete a sign-up form. Complete the form and click 'Submit'.
Step 3: You will then receive a welcome email instructing you to log into My Student Guide with your UQ username and password.
Step 4: Click 'Get Started.' You will see the profile of a Student Guide that our algorithm recommends for you. However, you can choose any Student Guide to connect with! Simply select the 'Browse Student Guides' button to view all their profiles.
Step 5: Within 24 hours, your chosen Student Guide will send you a welcome message.
